February HAT “Products with Purpose”

Introducing “Products with Purpose” – My New Column with Home Accents Today!

I’m thrilled to share the launch of Products with Purpose, a column dedicated to showcasing home furnishings that are sustainable, non-toxic, ethically produced, and accessible.

As a long-time advocate for responsible design, I believe that beautiful interiors should be built on products that respect both people and the planet.

In my first column, I spotlight three standout products that exemplify these values:

✨ The Marai Mirror – Handcrafted in Jodhpur, India, by the skilled woodworkers of Bhandu, this mirror blends artisanal craftsmanship with sustainability.

✨ The Healdsburg Counter Stool – Inspired by a vintage find, this counter stool marries organic textures with sculptural lines. The rattan is sustainably harvested, and the cushions are made from upcycled linen—proof that style and sustainability can go hand in hand.

✨ The Sun Rays Washable Rug – Featuring a 100% wool pile and a base of recycled cotton, this rug is certified by the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) and meets CPSIA compliance for safety and sustainability.

I invite you to read the full column HERE.

Are you a manufacturer committed to sustainable home furnishings? I’d love to connect and learn more about your work. Reach out to me at nancy@nancyfire.com!

Let’s create a future where design is not only beautiful but mindfully made. 💚
