Get to know more about Nancy…

An avid globetrotter, Nancy calls New York City and East Quogue NY home, but always keeps her finger on the pulse of global trends through her design company, Nancy Fire Designs. Nancy offers her creative and strategic services to brands in the industry including innovative assistance to companies by creatively growing their business through various design/product practices.

Nancy’s unique approach to design, coupled with her keen eye for trends, is now recognized as one of the leading lifestyle and design experts in the world. With her fine art background and her focus on curation and style, Nancy looks at the world of design through a creative lens that enables her to translate the way consumers are engaging with retail today into actual profitable products and services.

Nancy was co-founder and creative director at Design Works International, a lifestyle studio located in the heart of Manhattan that helped to define and capitalize on trends for over 30 years. Formerly the Design Director for HGTV and HGTV HOME®, Nancy began her work with HGTV HOME® in June 2011, in which she developed the HGTV HOME aesthetic that spanned across numerous retail lines that included HGTV HOME Design Studio by Bassett, HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams, HGTV HOME Outdoor Living at HSN as well as HGTV HOME fabric and trim with PK Lifestyles. Nancy’s reach expanded beyond the walls of HGTV in 2017, as the company broadened her role to the Food Network product line at Kohl’s. Nancy immediately made an impact as she revamped the Food Network tabletop business with her knowledge of what prints and patterns would resonate with the Kohl’s customers.

When Nancy is not in her studio collaborating with her clients, you can find her trotting the globe in search of trends and inspiration, keynoting at some of the biggest industry events, or enjoying her passion for sustainable gardening at her 19th-century farmhouse outside NYC.
