Inspiration from Mother Nature’s Color Palette

After returning from my time in the Dutch Antilles, I’ve been buzzing with inspiration—and it all begins with color. The way the ocean meets the sand, how sun-drenched palms cast sage shadows, and the deep terracotta hues of weathered clay tiles... Nature always seems to get it right.

This new mood board is rooted in those rich moments. From deep blues and terracotta browns to mustard yellows and sage greens, I’m reminded how perfectly these earthy tones blend and ground us in our spaces.
I’ve included some interesting finds:

🔹 A terracotta table lamp with a woven shade from Crate and Barrel
🔹 A uniquely shaped woven basket that feels sculptural yet warm from Anthropologie
🔹 Handmade tiles in natural hues that speak to the craftsmanship of the earth

These pieces and colors remind me that design doesn’t have to shout to make a statement—it just has to feel right. And often, that feeling starts with nature.
